Chicago blues continues against Jazz

The Utah Jazz came to the United Center and simply gave it to the Bulls. The Jazz won easily 132-108.
Jazz point guard and Chicago native Deron Williams scored 28 points and had 17 assists to lead his team. He was unstoppable. Derrick Rose or Kirk Hinrich couldn’t defend him.

With the help of William’s assists, seven [...]

Losing playoff spot

The Bulls are playing inconsistent basketball. The team can’t lose three games in a row, win four and then lose four and expect to get into the playoffs.
They are 31-31 and hold 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Let me say this again, the Eastern Conference. If they were in the west, the Bulls would [...]

Gibson a top 5 rookie

In the 2009 draft the Bulls had two picks. They grabbed Wake Forrest’s James Johnson with the 16th pick and then selected USC’s Taj Gibson with the 27 overall pick.
I don’t know what has happened to James Johnson but Gibson is becoming a star in Chicago. Gibson was the steal of the draft. The Bulls [...]

Noah missing next 3 weeks

Joakim Noah’s battle with plantar fasciitis in his left foot continues. The Bulls have put him on the injured reserve list for three weeks.
In his time off, Noah is expected to rest his foot. If the Bulls get to the playoffs, they will need him 100 percent healthy.

Atlanta takes advantage of beat up Bulls

The Atlanta Hawks licked their lips with hunger for an easy kill as they took the court against the wounded Chicago. The predators pounced on their prey for a 24 point victory, 116-92.
The Bulls played without Joakim Noah and Luol Deng. The starting roster included both of the Bull’s rookies, Taj Gibson and James Johnson. [...]

Starting line up may miss key players against Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks may face the Bulls with two of starters on the injured list.
Luol Deng’s swollen knee has him as a game time decision.
Joakim Noah will not play against the Hawks. He is still dealing with plantar fasciitis in his foot. This foot problem will probably hamper him the remainder [...]

One and done should be one and done

There has been all kinds of talk about the NBA’s one and done rule. The rule states a player must go to college for at least one year to be eligible for the draft.
College coaches and several analysts have problems with the one and done. Oklahoma’s Head Coach Jeff Capel said it was a bad [...]

Bulls could use a big man/ Big Z needs a job

Zydrunas Ilgauskas, “Big Z”, is officially a free agent. The Washington Wizards, who picked him up in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers shortly before the deadline, bought out his $11.5 million contract and then released him.
Big Z can not go back to the Cavaliers for 30 days but could be picked up by any [...]

Bulls beat Pacers, Need the momentum

BallHype Member Blog
The Chicago Bulls earned a very important victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Luol Deng scored 31 points and 9 rebounds. Taj Gibson had another double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The win against a bottom of the league team isn’t the real important part, it’s the momentum. The Bulls have a [...]

Bulls go into Washington looking for 5th straight win

The Bulls have been doing big things lately. They traded large contracts and an angry player away for expiring contracts, a solid role player in Hakim Warrick and all four pick ups are good locker room guys.
The Bulls had won two straight before the trades and have done the same after. The four wins were against bad teams: Minnesota [...]
