Reports out of Chicago are that Doug Collins will make a return to the Bulls as the new head coach.  Collins last coached for the Washington Wizards from 2001-02.  In each season with the Wizards the team finished 37-45, failing to make the post-season in each season.  Overall, Collins has 8 years coaching experience in the NBA, 3 with Chicago, 3 with Detroit and the 2 with the Wizards.

Besides the two years in Washington, his teams have preformed pretty well.  His teams finished with four winning season out of six.  Collins has a career .536 winning percentage during the regular season, but his teams have not always performed well in the post-season.  He has a 15-23 post season record.

This may be a good fit for the young team, just as it was when he took over the Bulls in Jordans’ earlier years.

Nice site guys. I thought Pax should have made himself the coach after Skiles was fired for sure. Then maybe Tyrus could have developed a little. With his kid in the army now, maybe he could have had more time…
